Description

All Elgone's facilities need a guard to protect the corporate property from looters coming from poor communities. Although the lower priority building cannot be provided with fully robotized expensive security droids the Conglomerate demanded their laboratories to engineer the cheaper alternative to perform these task.

Biomechanical Security Unit Mark I, named as commoners as Hound are psychopaths sentenced to death rebuild into these half-machines half-beasts with a control unit attached to their brain to suppress most of their urges and relay commands from the Central Security Unit. Hounds walk on their four mechanized "legs". One of the front "legs" is made out of human arm into a large pointy skewer used to attack the trespassers in melee, second front leg is usually made of half robotized arm and half of a human forearm but can be replaced with a blade or another skewer. Two hind legs have both human feet replaced with mechanized ones to increase their strength and the length of jumping. On Hound's back there is a small long range rotary double 9 mm cannon with limited ammunition used in case the target will try to run away or will keep his distance from the unit. There is also a long mechanical tail attached to the cannon ended with large sharp spike which can be used by a hound to hang from the ceiling whenever the place they are guarding is suitable to do so, another more obvious use is to attack targets standing behind the security unit. The head of the hound is made of reinforced steel to protect sensitive processing unit ant the brain from the damage and long range weapons, the head is usually shaped as a skull.
